Problem
Given two axis-aligned rectangles rec1
and rec2
defined by their bottom-left and top-right coordinates, determine if the rectangles overlap.
The rectangles are represented as [x1, y1, x2, y2]
where (x1, y1)
is the bottom-left coordinate and (x2, y2)
is the top-right coordinate.
Two rectangles overlap if they share any common area.
Return true
if the rectangles overlap and false
otherwise.
